@fabyon

But still no street view - just coloured blocks radiating around a central point.

Also, I just set up google play music to stream from my mac over wifi and there is terrible stuttering. Has anyone else found this?

My understanding is that this update only fixed Netflix and a few other issues. Performance is a lot better for me now.

@patski, yes, some users here including myself confirmed this stuttering thing in GMusic.

Can anybody confirm or check that after a factory reset the stuttering happens BEFORE installing any other applications?

@hoc, yes I can confirm that (for 018 update - the first one).
I made a reset to factory settings after system update. It had no effect on this (really annoying) bug. It was and still is there, making whole GMusic rather useless...

@wojman thanks - I started to look back through the thread! I can't seem to search within a thread here - is it possible?

Uninstalling updates for Maps, then powering down the tablet and when turned back on allow Maps to update again seems to have solved the crash issue for me. Been using Google maps for ten minutes with no apparent crash.

Thank you.

After re-updated to latest version (8.1.1) it still crash for me. So I re-uninstal updates, and remaining in stock version (7.7.0), it seems it's more stable (no crash for the moment).

The update became available for my tablet again, but still getting the error during installation. Very frustrating. None of the apps I wanted the tablet for in the first place work very well, kinda regretting buying this rather than the nexus! Can anyone help resolve the update issue?

Are you sure you didn't update ANY system file before the updating?

Not that I'm aware, I don't think I know how to do a system file update!
