After updating Yoga Book to the Android Nougat update, Google Play will no longer download apps. It says "downloading" and doesn't move. It eventually times out with error 905.
I have already done all troubleshooting with Google, they said it's Lenovo's issue. Please Help!

For those who things aren't working since nougat update, have you done a factory reset after upgrading? It's quite recommended to do it, even more with such a version upgrade like this.

Had same issue after updating. Found a solution for this problem.
Go to settings/security and disable all unit administrators (eg. find my device, lookout or any other anti virus program)
Open (if you have) a VPN app and disable it
Restart your yoga book and try to update again.
After updating apps you can again enable above features and your yoga book should run.
Its a bit annoying if it has to be this way updating apps - but maybe Lenovo will come with a solution soon.
This works for me.

After trying all the tips that can be found on YouTube, I stumbled onto this forum and followed Jolu70'S advice.
I did a factory reset, and now I can download from the Google Play with no problem.
