Re: Lenovo Yoga Tablet 3 Pro: Serious memory issues (bug report)

Who has experienced flickering during the use of the tablet?
How long have you been waiting for email refund confirm after replying the first email from the support?
They granted it to me but no news since the 29th of December....

Re: Lenovo Yoga Tablet 3 Pro: Serious memory issues (bug report)

Yes my display flickers also. It normally coincides with when the UI becomes stupid laggy and the touchscreen goes mental. Again related to whatever the root cause is that is discussed in this thread I assume.

Although I will point out that this has stopped since I made the settings change mentioned a few pages back.

Re: Lenovo Yoga Tablet 3 Pro: Serious memory issues (bug report)

Its not so difficult. You just need to enable developer mode, its in settings -> about -> tap "build number" 5 times. Developer mode will appear in settings after that.

In Developer mode you can find all the animation settings he listed.

The apps to disable are listed in settings -> apps -> running apps. Just tap the app listed and tap disable.

The google keyboard is downloadable from the Play Store. Then you can swap to it in Settings -> Language & input -> current keyboard.

Hope this helps.

YT3-X90F_USR_S100232_1512310950_WW24_ROW is being released today and will be made available world-wide over the next several days.

Fix actions:

  1. Release OTA6 for YT3-X90F ROW.
  2. Update TP FW to solve too sensitive issue.
  3. Optimize memory usage to improve system performance.

I would appreciate receiving your feedback on whether this update improves or resolves the poor performance discussed here.

Thank you,

Re: Lenovo Yoga Tablet 3 Pro: Serious memory issues (bug report)

[ Edited ]

Hi Amy. Any news about YT3-X90L? As I reported yesterday no OTA update for the LTE model since 11/30/15. Any chance to update my YT3-X90L?

At present my tablet reports as Build Number: YT3-X90L_S100049_151113 with Android version 5.1

kernel version 3.14.37-x86_64-L1-R415-g91d2837.

Despite italian version og language the tablet presents in Tablet information the following writing for system update:

Sistemos versijos naujinimas (I suppose to be in lithuan)

Once clicked the system replies "Naudojate najausia sistemos versija. (No available updates?)

I confirm the tablet switch off after a period of suspension of a couple of hours. I have to press the power button over a minute in order to soft reset it and restart (with all the settings resetted). I've had enough!

May I have news on my refund procedure started on 29 of december with the first email form IT Lenovo support but still in stand by?

thanks for answering

sincerly
