Tab 4 TB-8540F Display

The screen display on my 6 month old Tab 4 lost color and definition two days ago.  Is there a way to return it to the normal condition without doing a factory reset?

Thanks

Re: Tab 4 TB-8540F Display

Hi RD82!

Could you share a photo in the discussion, showing the issue on the screen? You may try a power drain first, and check for any changes,

1. Plug the charger. Press and hold the power button for 20 seconds.

2. Unplug the charger. Press and hold the power button for 20 seconds.

3. Plug the charger and turn on the tablet.

Update us how it goes.

Regards,

Re: Tab 4 TB-8540F Display

Thanks for those suggestions Hector, following are the results:

  1. If I send you a photo it will show (at your end) as a normal color photograph.
  2. I did the power drain and it had no effect.

What I see on my tablet is like looking at a piece of 35mm negative color film i.e. colors are "washed-out" and have no definition.

I know this isn't much help but I don't know how else to describe the problem.
