My tab 3 pro has the on screen time abround 7 hours. The battery is not good. But, if it just use a part of the battery (4300 mAH), i think it can't reach 7 hours on screen. I hope Lenovo will release the update soon to make the battery better like the previous vesion (5.01).

Local Professional-Dealer (Thinkpad etc.) told me lenovo even do not really care about end-consumer products. He is not allowed to give service to yoga-Series or thing like this.
But he found out a german a number to contact the support by telephone.
My device will be send in for the second time this year now. Hope it runs better after retourning. We will see.

I made the mistake of buying this before I saw the post and issues... Battery life out of the box on the tablet is jokingly bad, even stripped down.
Does anyone think lenovo will bother to fix it in a patch? It seems like this has been going on for MONTHS.
Or is it better to just dump it and buy a different vendor?

Btw. If you have Google app installed make sure you have the "OK Google detection from any screen" and "OK Google unlock" disabled. I think when I disabled those I got the power consumption to drop both for screen on and screen off substantially.

I just bought a tab 3 pro with 4gb of ram from Amazon in the USA. I've just found these battery threads after I started researching why the battery was draining so quickly. It's a cool tablet but it's a shame that Lenovo does not address this issue, even with an official statement. I feel that their marketing is extremely misleading and it should warrant legal action for them to do something about this. I won't be buying from this company again because it's obvious that they don't give a **bleep** about their customers or reputation. What a shame. Smh.

I originally posted under viscious but Lenovo changed their ID settings. I called Lenovo support and advised them of this issue. I spoke to a supervisor named Ace (badge ID 191485) and requested that he escalate the issue to corporate. I recommend that everyone with the battery issue try the same. This really needs to be addressed by Lenovo.

Hello everyone, I have Yoga tab 3 pro 4GB RAM 64GB memory
I have the same problem with the battery. Tablet in standby mode in airplane mode consumes about 1.7% / per hour. Programs like accuBattery shows the battery capacity of 4300mAh. In addition, the android system drains the batteries very much, which can be seen on the screen.
I was looking for a solution but there is nothing on the internet. All that's left is waiting for a new update software or uploading older software from before 14.06.17. software YT3-X90L_S200307_170614 seems to be defective and does not work as it should.
Does someone have an older ROM to write and not wait for LENOVO update ??
Does anyone consider this problem?
I greet the unhappy owners
