Yoga Tab 3 Pro (YT3-X90F) using Android 6 Marshmallow OS Lost Capability with Sonos

Unable to add Sirius XM or any other music service to SONOS using my Yoga Tablet 3 with Android Ver. 6 OS. SONOS states Android Ver.7 OS is now required to re-activate the previous features such as adding a music service. My tablet is only 3 years old, does Lenovo intend to provide an Android Ver.7 OS in the future. If not, why not? I have been using my tablet as a base controler for all my music on the large SONOS package I have installed in my new home.

Nice to have you here.

 

Upon checking the specifications of your Yoga Tab 3 Pro (YT3-X90F), it already received its last Android OS upgrade which is Android 6 Marshmallow and it was released last May, 2017.

 

With that, this means that the device will no longer receive any future Android OS upgrade(s).

 

It is also stated on Sonos' site that Android OS 5 and 6 (Lollipop and Marshmallow respectively) are no longer actively supported, but can still be used to control many commonly-used features.
