Yoga Tablet 2 Pro Cloud Printing

2015-01-19, 1:27 AM

Yoga Tablet 2 Pro.   HP Deskjet 3522 printer.  I can print from Dell PC, IPad, and Samsung Phone. Network is working fine.  But Tablet will not print to HP printer.  It turns off WiFI connection to Network, turns on printer network, so when on internet on tablet cannot not print.

Mod edit:  Added Model to Subject for improved visibility.

Ok...

Have you configured your HP ePrint (xxxx@hpeprint.com) account.Google's Android Cloud Print needs a valid xxxx@hpeprint.com account and that account needs to be associated to your Google account(the Google account you're using on your tablet).

https://support.google.com/cloudprint/?rd=1#

To associate a printer to your Google(Cloud Print) account go to->https://www.google.com/settings/dashboard ->connect with your Google account->scroll down to Cloud Print/ Manage printers and print jobs-> Add a Cloud-Ready Printer>Choose HP and associate your printer's xxxx@hpeprint.com account.

Make sure Cloud Print is enabled on your tablet. You should have a Printing(or similar) option in Settings.

Also make sure that the printer's Wireless and ePrint options are active.

Instead of Googles Cloud Print you can use THIS and THIS app.

.... ''It turns off WiFI connection to Network, turns on printer network, so when on internet on tablet cannot not print. ''

Seems like you're trying to use the ''Wireless Direct Printing'' function. That's the normal behaviour when using Wireless Direct Print. Please read ->

Hope this helps.:smileyhappy:

I have a similar problem. I want to print from my yoga2 Android tablet directly to my Epson printer via local wifi, not using the cloud. I also want this to be my default printer. Tablet settings for printer seem to be google cloud or off. Am I missing something?

When using the standard lenovo email client I can access my emails and read them, but I don't seem to be able to print them. There is no menu item "print" or save etc.
