Hi, new to forums so please excuse me if this has been covered already.
The battery drain issue I have a simple work around by playing around with my yoga 8/2.
If you switch off the tablet by holding down the side button and keep it pressed until the countdown from 4 window appears at the bottom middle of the screen, this does a hard shut down and the battery does not drain over night by 12%. I think the software is not working correctly when you shut down via the screen method, it seems to put it into hibernation/sleep mode instead of completely shutting down. Or the power manager is at fault, as you don't get the battery charging icon when closing this way.
Works for my yoga, hopefully might help someone else.

My Yoga 2 has performed faultlessly for 9 months using KitKat. But I just upgraded to Lollipop and wish I had never done it. The tablet immediately would not connect to WLAN and every time within five minute of booting up it would randomly reboot/freeze for a couple of minutes, and then start with no wifi connection.
I eventually thought to remove the SD card and that cured the issues. I reformatted the SD card, put it back in and the issues appeared again. Tried another card, same issues. Can anyone please suggest a cure without using the words 'factory reset'? I really don't want to do that - and why the heck should I have to anyway. It's clear from reading blogs on this that either Lenovo or Android, or both, have a glitch to sort out.

I am also having this problem with Comixology. SD comics look fine, but anything I download in HD is unreadable. I contacted Comixology, and they informed me they are investigating, but that the problem is limited to Yoga 2 tablets. This is very frustrating, as the primary reason I purchased this tablet was to read comics in HD.
