Backflip work with CDMA ?

2011-09-25, 12:46 PM

Hi,

I own a Motorola Backflip (Singapore version). On the Motorola website, the tech specs indicates that the phone supports multiple networks http://www.motorola.com/Consumers/XP-EN/Consumer-Products-and-Services/Mobile-Phones/ci.Motorola-BACKFLIP-XP-EN.alt

MULTIPLE NETWORKS

WCDMA 900/1900/2100, GSM 850/900/1800/1900, HSDPA 7.2 Mbps (Category 7/8), EDGE Class 12, GPRS Class , aGPS

Will the phone work on a CDMA network such as Sprint/Verizon in the US ?

Thanks.

@snowpaw,

Backflip is a multi-band GSM phone and as such will not work on a CDMA network. What multi-band implies is that it will work on different GSM frequencies.
