No Option to Enter Bluetooth Code When Pairing With Car Kit

2011-07-26, 14:09 PM

I have an av car kit that works fine -- I've had it for a couple of years and it works fine with my old phone, a Motorola Q9. Now I have the Backflip and when I try to connect, the car tries but the phone gives me an automatic "avkit rejected your request" message because the car asks for a code but the phone won't give me the field/option to enter a code. Anyone have any experience with this? I'm not totally happy with the phone to begin with (slower than sloooowww overall) but I spent decent money on this bluetooth kit for my car and am bummed that I can't use it...and I'm moving back to a state where I can't use a cellphone while driving so it will be necessary.

Thank you!
