Switching Languages on Backflip

Hi,

Do any one know how to switch language input on backflip after being installed?

I know I could go to the setting, then click on language&local, but I was wondering if there is a shortcut for switching the languages. I see that the Chinese language icon show up on the screen, but i can't change it by simply touching the icon to switch to English. Rather, I would have to go to the setting process again to switch the languages.

What I'm looking for is how to switch the two languages using shortcuts (by pressing sym, space, or others to switch the language input.)

Thanks,

Kelsey

Language Picker Widget

Not a setting, but it might help make the change quicker.

Re: Switching Languages on Backflip

I have the same issues with my new Motorola Backflip.

I have tried to update the software, but it claims that "There is no software update available for your device at this time." I am located in Singapore.

I notice I cannot change the language to Chinese as there is no Chinese option in the setting.
But where is the shift button on the phone?

Re: Switching Languages on Backflip

well, i downloaded a free software called "sogou input" . if you take a look on your phone's quickstart booklet it tells you where the shift button locates. As for mine, its on the left side of the phone with a arrow and a bar on top.

good luck!
