802.11n WPA2 AES non functional

2011-07-03, 16:38 PM

I can't get my Bravo to work on my 802.11n network with WPA2 AES encryption at all. It will connect for a short period (but with no data connectivity), then disconnect. If it is the only wifi network in the area that it knows it will continue to do this.

I don't have problems with any other devices on this access point including Mac Book Pro (with A/B/G/N), another Mac Book (A/B/G/N), Thinkpad T60 (A/B/G/N), Thinkpad T61p (A/G/B/N), iPhone 4 (B/G/N), Thinkpad T400 (A/B/G/N), Nexus 1 (B/G/N), iPhone 3GS (B/G) and others.

Well this kinda stinks as i have to setup a second SSID that runs WEP encryption on G which i don't like as it ties up radio resources.

Any fix for this anytime soon?

I

Well the phone seemed to work fine at work were I have 3 APs. Two different brands one being 802.11g and the other 802.11n of same brand as at home but different model (Rosewill).

zephxiii,  It seems from postings on several forums that "n" based connectivity with android based phones is iffy at best. Some people have been able to jump through some hoops and make it work on a consistant basis and others have just given up or gone to a "g" configuration which seems to have less issues. Hope you can find something that will work for you and your particular situation. Regards, Mike
