hello im having a problem with updating my bravo to 2.2..ok i have rooted my phone for a few months with adb method. first off my phone downloads the update and when it finally finishes, it says install so i click install my phone shuts off and restarts it goes to the screen where it does the update and the bar moves a few inches and then it goes to the bootloader i think with the exclamation point triagle and little android and gets stuck until i take battery out and restart. i have been doing this since 6pm yesterday when the update went live..please help if you can

Hmmm i've seen this happen when the wifi network you're connected to blocks the download. Is it a WPA2 or WEP secured network? Can you try on an open network?

@slimjay92

Can't help you in this community other than advising you to unroot and remove any modifications to the phone. Discussing the specifics is prohibited by our . It's kinda one of those, you got yourself into this mess so hopefully you know how to get yourself out situations. You've voided your warranty by rooting your phone so we can't guarantee you can get it upgraded though we hope you get it back to stock so you can.

@shaha21

We may have a solution for you to get back to a stock version at a future time. Currently there is no Motorola offered solution for users with rooted Bravo's.
