Bravo: Start downloading apps from any app market

2011-06-23, 23:09 PM

We're proud to announce that MOTOROLA Bravo with MOTOBLUR users can now download applications from Amazon App Market and other app markets after using an App produced by the creative genius of some community-minded Motorola Engineers. Thanks Guys!

Sideload Enabler for BRAVO now available in Android Market

Thanks for thread update!

Is it best to access the "Sideload Enabler" via the Bravo or a PC?

Thanks, y'all!

Either way. You can search from your phone or load from Android Market on your PC and push to your device.

I see the first comment in the Market came from someone named Mark. I wonder who that is?

BTW - for those folks that were lucky enough to have Unknown Sources available already, might AT&T force Motorola to lock out that function again? I've downloaded the app and saved it for future use, just in case.

Thanks,

dcedte

@dcedte

There are other Mark's in the world besides me. Nope you're good. This functionality and this app shouldn't disappear.

It says my MB860 is incompatible when I try and do it from PC, and doesn't show up on the mobile marketplace

@dbollard This app is specifically for BRAVO not ATRIX (or any other device). It had to be device targeted because it accesses special system features and had to be "signed" specifically for the device. ATRIX will have this functionality in the next OTA release (please don't ask me for release date ).

It will not install on my bravo. It says it is incompatible with a device, or something like that.

Whats wrong?
