I recently upgraded to a Samsung Epic 4G and traded in my old Motorola Devour (using RadioShack's trade in program) and only once I got home realized only about half my contacts where there. It seems some of my contacts were on my Google account, which carried over to the new phone, but many others (and annoyingly, the ones I needed most) were only stored to my Motoblur account. Most other services like this offer a way to recover your contacts in some way, such as a download, when the phone is no longer available. Motorola's support agent on the chat says that the only way to access Motoblur contacts is from a phone with Motoblur on it, and there's no web interface or other means to download my contacts in the event that I choose to upgrade to a phone without Motoblur.
Please tell me there's a way to get my contacts back without having to go buy a new phone?
