I have to solve a pattern everytime prior to making calls and now one of my butttons on the touch screen will not allow me to complete my log in and have not been able to use my phone.
I try to get the "forgot log in " option to appear but it does not..
how can i reset it?

Normally, when you forget the pattern lock code, you can click the forget password button, and log in with your Motoblur credentials. Since that isn't working, the only other alternative that I found was a hard reset. This will bring the device to factory specs, thus wiping out your pattern lock. Unfortunately, it also wipes everything else out.

Here is Verizon's sheet on doing a hardware reset (this will erase ALL data on the device); not sure if Bell Canada X2 is the same, but should be.

Thanks guys, the moto tech guy also told me to do so but i got 3.5 fingers = literally and cannot reach these buttons as requested so a friend will reset the whole darn thing tomorrow.
