Latest Android update now removes a few features with the music player

2011-09-06, 14:34 PM

The new Android release has removed the ability in the music player to stop a song, and you can no longer clear out a playlist (I don't mean deleting a playlist, I mean clearing one out, which essentially stopped music from being played).  Tech support level 2 told me that this was purposely done by the engineers at Motorola, but I have no idea why, and I can't seem to get in touch with them.

Although they've improved greatly, I've never held the native music players in high regard.  And, I can't imagine Motorola engineers being tasked with music player functionality.

Try the Cloudskipper music player from the market.  It's free, has no ads and is excellent. - MarkC

I did this, but I don't see where I can stop a song without actually getting out of the app altogether
