Punchcard! Have you tried a turbo charger. That is what I use and a full charge takes maybe 2 1/2 hrs. The phone seems to work differently and shows a notification that a turbo charger is attached. Also, all of our phones work so differently that I wonder about the build level and system level. I'm not sure how to force an update, but Verizon would be a good place to start. My build is NCD26.14-7,14 and system is 26.26.14.lux.verizon.verizon.en.US

I actually did try a turbo charger. I just picked up a Motorola SPN5970A TurboPower 15 QC3.0 Wall Charger from Amazon a couple of days ago. Sadly, Even though I get the turbo charger notification as well, it didn't help my problem of not being able to charge the phone while the power is on, nor can it get my phone to charge over 80%. But - I will use that turbo charger to do the battery recalibration that Immunol suggested and see if i get a different result.
I've wondered about the differences in our 3 phones as well since our problems are so different.
My build is NCD26.48-7.14 and my System is 26.26.14.lux.verizon.verizon.en.US - just like yours.
I wonder if, through the months of building these, the phones got slightly different internals or other software along the way. I don't know how to find when my actual phone was built (I think the official release was Oct 2015), but it would be interesting to see if there were changes made. Would there be anything under Phone Status that would tell us anything?

With a moniker like that I'll assume you are older. According to what I have read, the kernel actually controls charging.
My kernel is 3.10.49-gb 2018223be7 hudsoncm@ilclbld28 #1 dated jan 18. Configuration is fixed and shouldn't be different, but mine is F16.MOT.XT1565.0

My Kernel is a bit different from yours. Mine is 3.10.49-gb223be7 and all the rest is the same as yours. Mine doesn't have the "2018" after the gb in the Kernel. Could that be the problem? I asked in another thread if there was a way to reload the 7.1.1 update thinking that there may have been a hiccup when mine loaded. Do you know if there is a way to do that? That might clean up the Kernel load.
