Motorola Maxx Factory Reset

First off, if this isn't the proper place to ask this question, I apologize.

I have a Motorola Droid Maxx. I am due for upgrade and am considering doing so. If I do, I may give the Maxx to my grandson to use on Straight Talk. If I do, should I go to my settings and factory reset the phone, and is that all I would need to do? Thanks for your help!

Moved post to Droid Maxx forum.

Yes, if you don't want to share your data, and google account login, then a reset is needed. This will erase your data, and the phone will go through the setup process again.

There should be nothing else you need to do unless Verizon or Straight Talk have some requirements.
