Bluetooth problem with 2012 Honda CR-V

2012-10-18, 2:38 AM

There's a small bug i the bluetooth interface working with the 2012 Honda CR-V hands free link with the Razr M. I hope this is the right place to report this.

On the stereo the "1" button is used as a pause/resume button for starting and stopping the music player. It works to resume - but not to pause. It would be great if you can fix his for the next release.

I don't have the Honda GPS model. And this feature works with my Droid X.

FIrst question, under settings -> privacy and screen lock do you have Bluetooth Bypass enabled or no? If not, please try enabling and see if that resolves your issue.

If not, can you delete the profile from both your car and your phone and try to re-pair? Sometimes it takes a few pairing attempts before all the services are carried across.

I had the bypass off. Is that the correct setting? I'll try to pair it again.

I would enable the bypass and see what happens. If bypass is not enabled, when the phone is locked or the screen is off it may reject the command to pause. It could be that simple.

I tried both and it didn't work. I'm guessing that because resume works and pause doesn't that it's a software bug. That the command code list is missibg the pause entery.

Everything else works. Phone - google navigation, text messages, music displays song info, forward and back controls for stereo work. It's just the one button.
