Yahoo email best setup?

2011-11-16, 17:04 PM

Tried the yahoo app, tried the native app, tried the using POP, tried using IMAPI..still get sketchy results, e.g. poor syncing, non received email.

Is there a best practice for setting up yahoo eamil on the DROID razr?

Hello, I recommend you download "K-9" email client from the Market and give it a try.  It's powerful, supports IMAP and POP3 and as I recall does auto setup on Yahoo and Hotmail accounts.    --- Dan

There are 2 ways to setup your Yahoo email on RAZR: from Home screen, hit Menu, Settings, Accounts, then choose Email. You should see a list of icons there including a Yahoo icon and an Other icon.

If you have problems syncing your email using the Yahoo icon, try again using the Other icon.

Let us know if it works any better.
