Re: Droid Turbo 2 loses battery very fast

Thank you, Joy. My profile should be good now.

(I had entered my IMEI at accounts.motorola.com > motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/registration/action/forums rather than here.)

Re: Droid Turbo 2 loses battery very fast

Hi Nine11c2 and DAK23, I've checked your profile, kindly update it with your current device IMEI.

Hi jonAmos, I've tried your IMEI that you have on your profile, but it says device not found. Can you make sure you have the correct IMEI.

Hi n1nj45tyl3, would you please turned on the Motorola Privacy and let me know (just reply here) if it's okay for me to look at your apps to see if they are a source of problems.

Thanks,

Joy

Re: Droid Turbo 2 loses battery very fast

I found that my replaced phone solved any performance issue but the battery still was poor. The only way the battery seems to perform well is taking my personal gmail account off of automatic retrieve and turn it to manual.  At that rate I actually get real portions of a day of battery.

Hi Joy, I double-checked and it was correct, but I removed the spaces and re-saved. I am attaching a cropped screenshot from my phone (Settings > About phone > Status > IMEI information).

Thanks,

jon

Re: Droid Turbo 2 loses battery very fast

Please try battery calibration and let me know. Thank you!

1. Press and hold the power button until the phone reboots.
2. Plug into the supplied charger.
3. Allow the phone to charge to 100%
4. Leave on the charger for at least an additional hour.

Do I need to wait until the phone battery is "dead" (or at least very low)? Or does it work just as well to start with any battery percentage?

Re: Droid Turbo 2 loses battery very fast

Forgive me for being dense, but how do I update my profile with the the required information? I don't see anywhere on my profile screen to include the IMEI

I am still trying to determine whether this has helped. My first impression was that it didn't make a difference, but I don't want to rush to judgment, so I'm going to give it another week or so before reporting back. I might even try battery calibration again, unless that's a bad idea for any reason.

Thanks!
