Re: Nougat Update Issues

I see these issues too:

- rapid draining

- overheating

- slow/negligible charging on cables+plugs that worked well before

Re: Nougat Update Issues

Any updates for those who got the Nougat updated in February? I'd like to know when our issues are going to be fixed.

Just out of curiosity what build number are you showing???

The update we all received over the weekend is Build number NCK25.118-10

Re: Nougat Update Issues

Build and verion number is identical on the Feb and current releases.

I have NCK25.118-10 also.

Makes you wonder what changed between the releases while it was on hold.

Same build number here. I'm on Verizon. Was there any update since Feb? My phone didn't get any, and it also says that it's up to date.

There seem to be many reasons and opinions about the battery drain:

https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/DROID-TURBO-2-by-Motorola/Nougat-7-0-battery-drain/m-p/3591936

@I can understand that the battery drain could be due to a recent update, but that generally takes a couple of weeks to settle, not months. I also see that there's a drastic difference in charging/draining performance within a small margin of screen brightness: @17% it seems to be behaving tolerably, but if I increase it to just 20%, the longevity plunges to less than half. This looks odd.

Also, the old 1 Amp chargers I had worked very well till Feb. Now they struggle to charge the phone - zero or negative charging if screen is on, very slow charging when screen off. Now only the new 2 Amp chargers seem to make any difference. Why would they make an update where the software would slow down charging?

The camera bug is still there, of course.

Re: Nougat Update Issues

Nougat was originally released at the end of Febraury and was pulled due to bugs, it started up again last week and there's no difference between the two in the version and build numbers.

I usually only charge mine with the turbo charger so I haven't noticed a difference, I'll test it out with a normal one.

Re: Nougat Update Issues

I hate everything about this update:

  • laggy everywhere, any item, no matter what is and isn't running in the background
  • pull down menu doesn't pull down and stay
  • no date once you finally get the **bleep** menu pulled down, have to pull it all the way just to see the date

i just want my phone back... i shouldn't have to buy a new $600 phone every year to have a functional device.
