Hi Turbo_one,

Since you just updated your device to the latest version, I suggest doing clear cache partition and see if that works. There is no way to downgrade your device once it has been updated. Only rooting your device will allow you to downgrade, but rooting your device is not recommended or advisable.

I'm still having a similar issue, and I performed a factory reset a few days ago as directed by verizon in an attempt to fix it.

I'll even get drain from cell standby with airplane mode on unless I reboot my phone with airplane mode turned on.

I was not having this problem before updating from 5.1 to 6.0.1

I am also seeing a significant increase in battery drain.  I have not yet tried a factory reset, holding off on that as a last resort.  admittedly, my phone is nearly 2 years old, but before the upgrade I could get a 28 to 36 hours out of a charge.  now I have to put it on a charger at 8pm.  barely 12 hours.  I have noticed that the stock battery app shows WiFi is on 100% of the time, even if I turn WiFi off it registers as being on/active.  And also, the phone is awake way more than it should be, 50 to 75% of the time, even if I just leave it sitting on my desk at work all day.   It could be an app, but I'll find that out after a Factory reset.  I wish there was a way to view what causes wake locks on this phone.

And airplane mode has been on since I removed my phone from the charger. Anyone else noticing cell standby drain with ariplane mode turned on?

for me too...for a few days I used the phone without a sim and in airplane mode; draining, in that case too, was very very important; please re-analyze the firmware, something doesn't work well

p.s. yesterday, before going to bed, the phone was on 10% battery; this morning the phone was turned off...

Part of me thinks these issues won't be fixed for a few months, if at all. Between cell standby battery drain and slow or failed boots with secure start-up turned on; its become bad enough for me that I just want Motorolla to give me the OEM unlock code so I can downgrade to 5.1 (I'm not afraid to risk bricking my phone, I'm already out of warranty anyway I think, and I've done it before successfully with a different Android device).
