Regarding the 5.0 update, when it arrives, and all of the Moto and Verizon apps that we have disabled: do we need to enable all of that before doing the update, or does a major OS update take care of all that anyway?View original

Actually with the new update you will get all new bloat, if they are disabled, you'll have to do it again. I am not 100% sure but this has happened on my previous phones when updated. BTW all Verizon...

I am definitely back from my old MAXX, went to a Note3 and liked it but hated all the Samsung crap on it. just got a 64gb Turbo ballistic and it's awesome and definitely much much faster than the Note3.

Thanks for the info regarding my earlier post, and welcome back.  The 64G Turbo has been an incredible phone so far for me.

Is it really worth it to upgrade from Droid Maxx?

Coming from the Razr Maxx HD, which I thought was a great phone, I'm definitely very pleased with the Turbo.  No regrets what-so-ever!

Although a lot of the older Motorola phones share many features with the Turbo I think its worth it...

Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 Processor, Quad HD display with 565 ppiTurbo Charger, 21MP Camera , Moto App (Assist, Voice, Actions and Display)  just to name a few that make it irresistible!

I have and love the 64 GB Black Ballistic Nylon Version!

I have the 64 GB employee edition coming from the ultra there is a decent difference in performance and screen clarity... But depending what you do on your phone most people wouldn't notice a difference between the turbo and the maxx/ultra

Lastly, Moto has released a Flip Cover case which has a "smart screen" feature that allows you to interact with a smaller portion of the phone screen and offers some inherent protection. I'm still playing with it, and haven't found out how to change the smart screen wallpaper or other settings yet. Please share if you've found this.

It is not possible to adjust any settings, at least not currently. You could, however, turn it off by disabling the Motorola Flip Cover app. wink

Great info! I found most of that but still wondered on how Turbo Charger did it's thing! It's great.

In past had Droid 1-4 with slide keyboard. Thought I'd hate being away from it (all I had for 10yr has had a keyboard!). Awesome device! Go Moto!
