Assembled 9/24/2014 - Ballistic 64GB.  Only current issue is same deal with Contacts crashing -- also started 2-3 weeks ago. Turned AC off due to noise on the call, bad connections.

Looking forward to Lollipop but would rather wait for them to get it right on the Turbo.  I have Lollipop on a Nexus 7 and it's no longer a happy user experience.

Sounds like things are a bit tense in the Moto development department. Probably good to keep reposting this to remind Moto what good Customer Care is.

Mine was assembled on 9/25/14 and I have zero problems.  Looks like I got one of the first ones built.  I have the Ballistic Nylon 64GB.  Turned on AC back in December when we got the update and have NEVER dropped a call.  No other issues whatsoever.  Signal strength for 4G and WiFi as good or better than previous devices including Galaxy S3 and S4.  By far the best device I have ever had.  With all that said, still think it is a bit silly this phone hasn't been updated to L yet.  Sorry, I'm just one of those who wants to have "the latest thing."

Build date Assembled on 10/9/2014,  64 GB Ballistics and I can't use AC if I do folks say they can't hear me or I will have a dropped call. I have to keep the AC off and then I don't have issues. Just sucks that I can't surf and talk. I've pretty much accepted the phone for what it is...  One Antenna and you need WIFI for talk And surf.  Can't say anymore because it has been grounded to the home. Embarrassing knowing S4 and LG G2 Are jamming lollipop. S4 is already seeing better battery life.

I can't believe my eyes and what that Picture is saying telling someone something like that, no excuse and I hope that issue and behavior has been addressed.  PR night mare with that type of behavior.

Re: Official Lollipop (Android 5.x) News here

My issue now is that I use the Droid Turbo as a work tool.  It has been a good performer, and I have had very little problem with it (short of Advanced Calling not being worth a plugged nickel in my area - I turned it off).

But now, third-party developers are introducing software that I need to be able to use in my trade, and they are ONLY compatible with Lollipop forward.  So I can neither use nor demonstrate this new software.  THAT is a business issue and not just a personal one.

I suppose, like everyone else, I just need a realistic date from someone at Verizon/Motorola.  Why is it so hard to get that answer?

Well, Verizon and Motorola should of had the Turbo ready for Internet and Talk at launch. Lollipop should of been installed already for this phone. The build is messed up and I agree with the comments that this device has been left behind for Verizon and Motorola. I am very sure both companies are at it with each other and we the consumer have to suffer for what ever went wrong. Just flat out sad. Peace and Love to Verizon and Motorola, just get it done and fix this device. So sad
