For all the people who say "Kit Kat works great! I don't want Lollipop because it's super buggy!" you know you don't have to accept the update, right? You can just decline to download it. The rest of us want what was promised seven months ago when we bought the phone.

@abrowncow - You can postpone for 24 hours. There is no way to decline indefinitely on a VZW phone at least.

Not only were we promised a lollipop update when we got the phone Verizon is now claiming that the phone COMES with it.  This is not the way that any business keeps customers and I know that this will be the last Motorola I buy.

Yeah I agree, I came from the droid maxx and loved it . The turbo has been a really poor experience, from a software perspective. At that time, i though hey, its motorola, I am sure we will get the update quickly. ...so I was wrong. I do wish i bought a nexus device now.

Definitely stepping away from DROID line after this experience as well. After this phone goes out of contract , I'm moving on. I'll stay with moto if the phones do not get neutered by Lenovo, but never a DROID again.

This is getting really weird now. Verizon's website claims that the turbo comes with 5.0.2 now. No statement from Verizon or Motorola. What happened to skipping 5.0 all together for 5.1?

Droid Life's sources are saying that it will be 5.0.2, not 5.1.
