Want the best case for the Droid Turbo? Sign up!

2014-11-05, 0:36 AM

I've been using Seidio cases since the Droid, and everything less has been inadequate. This isn't an advertisement,  I'm trying to get them to make one for the Droid Turbo but they're not sure yet. I think they will make one if they get enough interest.

Let them know which one you want! I also selected the Nexus 9 tablet. If you're not familiar with Seidio, they make very quality sturdy and good-looking cases and ledgers (which look very nice for travel), and I've bought almost nothing but them for years. Check out their Surface case; that's been my favorite (I use a belt clip holster and there's is better than the typical slip-clip holster, which obscures the lower volume button on Motorola phones).

Please sign up for the Droid Turbo notification so they know you want it!!! Thank YOU!

Im actually surprised they haven't decided to make it or not yet, there is gonna be an otterbox... Very nice cases though, had one for my Razr Maxx HD and S4, both were good.

Otterbox is already making them for the Turbo... http://www.verizonwireless.com/accessories/cases-and-protection/otterbox/droid-turbo/

Both the Defender and Commuter. My local Vzw has them in stock. I just don't like Otterbox because it makes the phone feel bulky.

To be honest I haven't been doing case or screen protector on my last couple phones and things have been fine, plus I don't have to deal with the reduced clarity (all screen protectors suffer from this in some way). In an industrial mechanic and all 3 of my last phones had little to no signs of wear when I went to the next phone (a year or so use with each). I just love the design of this phone too much to cover it up.

I don't know whether you have the nylon weave or standard - I have the nylon weave back and I agree 100%, but I do have a screen protector on mine. I've scratched many an unprotected screen accidentally...

Since my Maxx, I haven't used a case. I just got used to not having them and its worked in my favor so far. That being said, I wouldn't mind a bumper case of some sort. If I HAD to use one, I'd like a bumper. Unfortunately it doesn't seem like there Ade many choices out there yet for good cases in general.

I had screen protectors on the OG Droid, but the Bionic and now the Maxx have always been naked.  Back when Motorola actually made docs, any sort of case would interfere, and I discovered that using a phone without the case in the way was a lot more pleasant.

My phones don't get too torn up -- either the Bionic or the Maxx could pass for brand new, or close to it.

All I want in a case is to be able to hang it on my belt or pocket. On my Razer maxx I had one with the kick stand and really liked it. It wasn't too bulky. The outer box I saw made the turbo look like a fablet or something. It was huge. I've got a cheap leather pouch coming to hold me over until I find what I want. Probably be what I had in the maxx

I did ultimately go with the CaseMate - it has the least offensive footprint and still felt decent, and lets the texture of the nylon back show through which is also nice.
