Set Update Times

I have my phone set to update on Wi-Fi only, but the drawback is that it attempts an update anytime it connects to Wi-Fi at all.  During the update process, it devotes all of its resources to downloading updates.  It's annoying.  I'd rather it just do updates on my Wi-Fi, at home, between 3-4 am when I'm asleep.  Is it possible to schedule that?

Re: Set Update Times

The only way I have found is to disable auto update in settings in the play store. Then periodically at your convenience hit update all to manually update. I have not seen a way to automate it yet.

Re: Set Update Times

When you turn auto update off, you'll get a notification that apps are ready to update, so you can do it at your convenience, and either update them all at once or pick & choose which ones to update.

Another advantage is that you'll always know when and what changed on your phone, in case something doesn't work as expected.

Re: Set Update Times

+1. That's what I always do - update when I am ready to.
