And you can't search emails either, except Gmail.

now the Droid Incredible can search calendar.  I imagine that since the main OS is Android, is it possible to transfer the main apx or main program from one to the other?

does anyone expect that to be fixed or added?

I can sort of understand how they missed this in QA.  They were testing using SSL and had SSL running on their server.  when they tested without the SSL check on the phone, it sill connected to the SSL server.

Hey, the servers should be running SSL for OWA or OMA.

Unfortunately, the HTC phones also use a manufacturer email app. It is not

stock android either. Dunno if a Sense email app is able to work on a

Motorola device, without the Rom communities help.

Not everyone runs Exchange so OWA may never come into the picture.

well, then this thread would not apply would it.  considering this is an "Exchange corporate sync"...  thread.

I guess i don't understand your point.

If "they" are NOT running Exhchange then how could "they" have an "Exchange" problem?

@matty032,

You can filter your email inbox by long-pressing on the menu button when in

the Inbox. This will pop up the virtual keyboard. You can then start

typing a name or a word and this will do a search on subject or sender.

My corporate server uses SSL and the Droid X can not connect to it although Touchdown and the old Android client can.  I don't believe your theory is correct unless I'm missing something somewhere.

Um, yes, it would most definitely apply. Calling it Exchange Corporate Sync is a bit of a misnomer. The client on the X is actually an ActiveSync client. You don't have to be using Exchange to have a server that supports ActiveSync. I have the "Exchange" client on the Incredible, Droid X, Droid 2, iPhone, etc all syncing with our Novell GroupWise system.

And so I get back to my original statement... since the ActiveSync server may not be Exchange, and thus not Outlook WebAccess, it may make sense not to use SSL.

Thanks, now if we could copy/paste, and get push/notifications to subfolders

I would be a blur lover.
