While my Droid X has not experienced the "restarting on its own" problem since I first turned it on last August, I sincerely hope that those of you in need of a solution don't have to wait much longer.

same here...and now wife's phone upgraded to GB and her's does the reboot when you try to power it down.
The camera is all wonky, power drain seems higher,
seriously, why mess with it? upgrades came become downgrades....
what is the next version? this is like windows upgrades..LOL

I tried a factory restore and received the following error message. The cache says it was wiped, but an error message shouldn't be coming up regardless. Does anyone else see this when restoring their phone?
