DroidX2 reboot upon swipe of locked screen

I have a DroidX2, and two times now it has rebooted on its own when doing the screen unlock swipe.  Note that I have a passcode entry required to gain access to the device, but I cannot get to the point where I enter the passcode; rather, the phone reboots before passcode entry is permitted.

Thx, Tazzarias

Re: DroidX2 reboot upon swipe of locked screen

Mine used to do this almost daily, ever since the first update.  I've found a few things to be helpful in avoiding the problem perhaps 90% of the time.  Firstly, whenever the phone reboots itself, I follow up with a proper shutdown and restart.  I've also found that if I do a shutdown and restart every morning I only get rebooted about once a week.

These things are a real hassle, but a whole lot less frustrating than a random reboot when I need to make a phone call.  I have several other Android devices that get used a lot and go weeks at a time without a reboot of any kind.  There's really no excuse, especially for something that NEEDS to be RELIED on as a telephone.
