I'm running into a very bizarre issue post-upgrade... when I connect my Motorola Bluetooth keyboard, i lose WiFi connectivity. It comes back when I turn off the keyboard.
Anyone else having a similar issue? Any ideas before I go through the hassle of a factory reset?
Upgradad to ICS on XYboard 10.1 WiFi...
Hello EBinNJ,
I'd be glad to help you with this issue. Can you tell me which BT keyboard you are using? Have you tried other BT keyboards and did it behave differently prior to the upgrade to ICS? Are you using any other BT devices at the same time as your keyboard (i.e. mouse, headphones, speakers, etc)? Have you tried pairing any other BT devices (such as a mouse) with your XYBoard? Have you tried dropping the BT pairing with the keyboard and then re-establishing the pairing again?

Thanks Doc and Kolio...
The keyboard is the Motorola BT keyboard withOUT mousepad, Kit # SJYN0700A.
Unfortunately I don't have any other BT keyboards to try, however I did unpair the keyboard from the XYboard, and I even reset the keyboard by holding down N-E-W when powering up, then re-pairing the device after rebooting the XYboard. The keyboard was the only device connected.
I have tried connecting a BT Headset to the Xyboard and streaming music out to it, and this does not seem to impact Internet connectivity.
I honestly cannot say that this is caused by the ICS upgrade... In fact, I had been having troubles with WiFi connectivity before ICS upgrade that I attributed to a very polluted WiFi environment in my office (which is where I use the keyboard) along with the XYboard's inability to connect through the authentication firewall my company uses for connectivity to the WiFi network until the ICS upgrade fixed that problem.
So--to state the obvious--I either have a hardware problem (with either the keyboard or the XYBoard) or there's a sofware/driver/garbage issue on the XYboard, and I don't have another keyboard available to try that alternative out. I also find it a little hard-to-believe that a hardware issue could cause WiFi to drop when a particular bluetooth device connects.
I did try flushing the cache from the Recovery screen (That didn't work either) and I'm inclined to try a Factory Reset.
My settings are backed up to the Google Servers... does anyone know if my apps and settings will be automatically restored after a Factory Reset? I've seen that work on my ICS RAZR very nicely, but I've not seen it work on my (then) honeycomb XYboard.
