16GB vs 32GB

Is it possible to upgrade a 16GB Xyboard to 32GB? Is the 32GB hard drive faster?

Also, I saw an ad for a 64 GB Xyboard. 10.1. A scam?

Re: 16GB vs 32GB

I have the 8.2, and as far as I can tell it is not possible to upgrade the onboard storage from 16 to 32GB.  The device is sealed, and not meant for users to tinker with the innards...

The specs on the 10.1 according to PhoneArena say 64GB of built-in storage.

I think the most noticeable gains in speed would be for devices with more system memory--not storage.

Thanks, that's what I thought. Now that you mention it I've never seen the specs for Xoom/Xyboard system memory.

I still don't get '64GB'. Seems misleading (dishonest?).

Dishonest how? That users don't get the *entire* 64gb?

Just don't really think it has 64GB onboard storage, which is what is implied. Buyer beware & all. Maybe it is correct, but when I smell something fishy I don't buy.

This is true for all devices, though, since the OS takes up enough room to make a noticeable reduction in onboard storage....
