Re: Droid going into silent mode by itself

How does the app determine what is inadvertant and what isn't? I was going to install one of these apps, then decided against it because I still want the ability to control the volume if needed, especially if I need to switch to speaker.

RingGuard pops up a confirm dialog when it sees that the ring volume has changed.  You can confirm by touching the "Yes" button on the dialog, or with the BACK, MENU, or SEARCH keys, if so configured.

Re: Droid going into silent mode by itself

My husbands phone just randomly turns the volume all the way down. It doesn't go silent since he also has it set to vibrate. He can turn thevolume back up and it will just go back down on it's own. The phone has no case to interfere with volume control and it happened twice while it was sitting in the docking station. It has also happened just sitting on a table. It is stock with no modifications at all. Any ideas?
