Motospeak with H17txt BT

2010-05-29, 15:52 PM

I have just purchased my H17. Downloaded and installed the Motospeak application. Seems to work fine with incomming text messages as advertised. However I am attempting to use the voice dial features "call john Smith" and having some issues. The basic user info i have located tells me to press magical motospeak button. Unfortuently I can't find it.Tried the answer button on the headset. Is it a soft key i need to set up on the phone? App is running as TXT msg are played when they come in. Also, normal use while in call is fine.

Thanks for any asistance.

You will have to wait for "Froyo" (OS 2.2) to come to the Droid.  It supports hands free Bluetooth use.   --- Dan

Not to get off the subject, but has anybody gotten the H17txt to anounce the incomming callers nameor number? All i get is "In comming call on line one" then it starts ringing.

When I press the call/answer button on my H17, a window opens on my HTC Evo 4g asking if I want to complete action using motospeak or Voice Dialer, It has a check box for Default action. which I checked.  Then pressed the Voice Dialer.  I can now use the BT to make voice dial calls, and it still reads text messages to me.
