I have a T480S and the ultra docking station (40AJ model), using 1 DP and 1 HDMI for my 2 external monitors.
Everything working great for a year, now the monitors just stay in sleep even though Windows knows they're there.
Attempting to clone or extend fails, they never turn on, even with just 1 connected.
The 3.1 (even tho it says 3.0 when running) FW update utility doesn't detect the displayport hub in the dock.
Any suggestions to getting these monitors back on?

Hello and welcome to the Community,
Sorry for not seeing this sooner, I'm using a T480s attached to a 40AJ dock currently with two external displays; 1 - VGA, 1 - HDMI. All is fine but last week I had an issue which turned out to be the dock unfortunately.
If you attach the HDMI display directly to the notebook my guess is that it works? Same when you attach a VGA display to the dock it works?
- Is the dock's light on?
No - check power supply.
Yes - does the notebook indicate it is charging whilst docked?
- No - Make sure you have the 135W AC adapter attached to dock / Try another 135W adapter.
For the digital display outputs to work on docking stations they require power being supplied to the dock, if none of the above helps the dock has failed.
