Lenovo Monitor l27Q-30 supporting lower Hz frequencies

2020-05-15, 14:31 PM

Hi there,

Due to the bandwidth of my processor, I can use QHD resolution only at frequencies lower than 60Hz (40Hz specifically).

However, when selected, the display shows error message "Input not supported".

I tested this with my other device that supports QHD at 60Hz, and tried to lower the rate to 40Hz and got the same error message.

My suspicion is that the display does not support frequencies lower than 60Hz. Is there anyone who can confirm this? Is this something that a firmware update / driver update might solve?

Thanks in advance,

J

Hi all,

I've just managed to resolve this issue, thought I would keep the response here for the benefit of others.

The minimum frequency supported by the monitor is 48Hz. It was possible to select 50Hz+ option when setting the timing standard in Nvidia control panel to CVT-RB.
