Re: Lenovo OneLink Dock with Multiple Monitors

Yeah. I get the same resolution of the X1 native HDMI and I can use that (or 2560x1440) together with the LCD on th e X1. This is totally fine for me.

Thanks!

Re: Lenovo OneLink Dock with Multiple Monitors

Well I went and got my 3rd dock for the X1 - this time the Onelink Pro.

Yes, thet DP worked @ 2560x1440 until I installed the drivers. After that I could not bring the monitor out of sleep mode....

No way to get this working again. I unistalled, restarted, etc.... I think I spend more than 2 hours to get this to work again. So for a one-shot connection (without LAN support, since drivers was not installed) this dock works.

You got to be kidding me......!

The funny thing is that the DVI can actually do 2560x1440 over VGA.... So I got the resolution, but not in the quality I wanted.

What a complete mess all these 3 docks are.

Really sad - I do like the X1, but for sure I will get something else next time. Something with a working dock

Try a premium, thick, shielded VGA cable, like the cables listed at http://amzn.com/w/3ITULGF7EYMEA

Thinkpad W500, Windows 7 Ultimate, ATI graphics (home); ThinkPad E531, Windows 7 Enterprise, Intel graphics (work)

Re: Lenovo OneLink Dock with Multiple Monitors

My laptop: ThinkPad Yoga i7-4500U/8GB/256GB

Is there a performance hit when two monitors are connected to the Onelink Pro dock? By performance hit I mean perceivable video lag/delay or the laptop's resources are consumed more than usual?

Also please confirm that when the Onelink (Pro and non-Pro) docks are in use the laptop's built-in mini-HDMI port is disabled?

Re: Lenovo OneLink Dock with Multiple Monitors

Thanks for the reply. Any confirmation that the built-in HDMI is disabled while using the dock?

Re: Lenovo OneLink Dock with Multiple Monitors

Lead_Org : I have a Lenovo X1 Carbon 20A7 with a one link PRO dock and it will not display anything on the DP monitor. Is there ANYTHING that can be done? I had it working and saved the profile but I cannot for the life of me, get the DP monitor to work AT ALL. Please ADVISE ASAP. Thanks

@arupman,

i have tested your configuration on both of mine ThinkPad X1 Carbon and OneLink Pro dock.

The HDMI doesn't work when you are using OneLink Pro dock's video ports.

Re: Lenovo OneLink Dock with Multiple Monitors

I have a Thinkpad Yoga with a OneLink Dock and are currently running one monitor over HDMI.

I'm looking to get 2 Dell U2515H monitors that support DP in daisychain.

Has anyone tried to run 2 DP monitors daisychained on the Onelink PRO Displayport?

I know there isn't any written support from Lenovo regarding this but if the displayport is just passthrough from the laptop/CPU(i7-4600U) then there could potentially be support for dual-stream even though this isn't officialy supported from Lenovo.

Just wondering if anyone has tried it before I order my new dock and monitors...

And we're back...

Move delayed but still coming
