Lenovo active pen 2 won't write after closing laptop lid

I have a Yoga 920 and recently bought an active pen 2. Whenever I boot up the laptop the pen works fine, however if I close the laptop screen or set it to sleep it will not write or register the pen tip at all when I wake it back up. So far only restarting the laptop will solve this until I close the lid again. The bluetooth connection is not disconnected, only the pen tip is ignored. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers and updated everything that required updating, yet the problem remains. Can anything help me?

Welcome to the community forums.

 

Were there any changes or updates on your Yoga 920 prior to the issue? What are the drivers that you've reinstalled? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the display driver and the HID-touchscreen driver? We would also suggest updating the BIOS. You may download the BIOS here: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/. Update us how it goes.

Problem fixed. I hadn't reinstalled the touchscreen driver for some reason. Thank you.
