At the office we have many problems with flickering screens using a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 20KG and Thunderbolt 3 Docks.
We use Windows 10, dualscreens screens (also Lenovo). We have tried many things already, like updating Windows, installing new BIOS/firmware (laptop and dock), tried longer USB-c kabel, but nothing worked.
We also had this problem before with older Thinkpad X1s and ProDocks. Those problems were eventually solved by installing a new firmware for the dock and BIOS for the laptop, but at the moment there is no solution.
Also, i feel like none of the Lenovo support replies take this issue serious, as you can find thousands of simular problems, dating back many years!

I have the same problem with my brand new Lenovo Yoga C930 and the Thunderbolt 3 Dock. After connecting the notebook to the dock, the notebook screen flickers. Have tried updating notebook drivers, dock drivers, and until now no luck. Hope that Lenovo finds a solution, because it is frustating the see the screen flickering the whole work day.

Same here. Its clearly a "software / firmware" problem, my dock was changed but the problem persists. I found that if I have an application with a white background on the monitor, the flicker is almost gone, comes once in a while but rarelly.

Yeah it has something to do with whatever is on screen as well, though i dont think its a problem with the videodrivers.
I just had the flickering happen again, with some sort of java application. Will see if i can find out more.

I have a t580 with the thunderbold dock and when I connected two monitors to the dock my built-in display started flashing.
I fixed it by going into 'control panel' 'power options' 'edit Plan settings' and cranking the brightness for the 'on battery' setting to the highest setting.
The flashing stopped.
Hope this helps others.

Do you have a link? All i can find are the old drivers from December 10th
I can find a new firmware, but thats for Windows 8.1, not for Windows 10
