Taking apart ThinkPad Advanced Mini-Dock

I want to take apart ThinkPad Advanced Mini-Dock because

1. Upper left part is loose and broken. (Red on the picture)

2. Plastic mounts are stuck(Blue on the picture) - my notebook(Lenovo R500) cannot be installed in mini dock.

It looks like this:

The problem is that I cannot take it apart. I think I found all the screws unless they are hidden somewhere:

Even after unscrewing all of them the construction is fixed, so I think I am missing something.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Re: Taking apart ThinkPad Advanced Mini-Dock

Welcome To Lenovo Community

There are four rubber circular feet at the four corners, remove those you will find screws below them

Unscrew these screws to open the dock

Do give this a try and let us know

Hope This Helps

Re: Taking apart ThinkPad Advanced Mini-Dock

Hi Vyacheslav,

I also have an R500 and an advanced mini dock with the same problem  (I dropped the mini-dock while carrying it). I removed the 4 corner pads, as suggested, but what was underneath them does not appear to be screws. What I saw were 4 small indentations with what looks like a very small whole in the center of each. Did you succeed in taking apart the mini-dock?
