I am trying to get the Thinkvision X1 27in to work properly with a company-issued MacBook Pro. I have everything working but the monitors built in microphone. There are no MAC drivers on the website so I was wondering if this is a compatibility issue or if I missed something in the MAC system preferences to get this to work.
Any thoughts or suggestions are welcomed.

did the USB-C connection work instantaniously for you? I own a P27h which should be similar in compatibility but doesn't work at all on my MacBook (see here)

As far as I can tell my issue was just one one of the X1's. The USB-C cable I have heard can cause the issue depending on the maker of the cable.

I used both the included one (which should support charging and picture for obvious reasons) and the official Apple one. So this shouldn't be the problem

True it should not matter but in some cases it does. I have seen it on the ones here and have read about others having the same issue.

I'm using ThinkVision X1 with my MacBook Pro 13 inch with Touch Bar. The built-in microphone is also working well. It seems you just don't choose proper input at "Sound" of "System Preferences". You might be able to choose "X1" there.
Hope it works well.
