I am trying to do a BIOS update when doing an OSD with a Task Sequence. After successfully executing the phase 1 and 2 BIOS update steps, the computer reboots and doesn't complete the remaining task sequence steps.
phase 1 step: Flash64.cmd /quiet /sccm /ign /pass:xxxxxxxxxx
phase 2 step: wpeutil shutdown
The BIOS update and task sequence is done for a "new machine" OSD scenario.
Does anyone know how to continue the task sequence?

You need to consider executing the bios flash at the end of the task sequence since it requires the shutdown. If you try doing this early on, what you're experiencing is expected. The system has no idea what to do after you call wpeutil shutdown.

SCCM task sequences don't like being interrupted with a shutdown. I've read about a technique you can use to work around this but haven't yet tried it myself. It works by launching a process to monitor for when a Restart Computer task sequence step is in progress and pre-empts the restart with a shutdown.
