How do i bypass the motoblur activation?

2011-07-07, 9:35 AM

Hi i have a mb511 Flipout and i got a prepaid sim from vodafone australia. I want to just use the phone as an mp3 player but not sure what to do with this motoblur thing. I googled and found pages that said i could bypass motoblur. Oh i tried to turn on wifi but i can't seem to understand what to do. Some page on the net said to do it but the instructions were not complete. Can someone tell me what i should do? Thanks and much appreciated )

Welcome to the Forum.

Sorry for the delay.  But there is no way to bypass the motoblur setup.

Thanks,

J

Sorry but i did it. I held down the alt key and pressed E twice then types 'bluroff'. It is not permanent though. Everytime i boot i have to do it again. I did see a page that makes it permanent but as i am still getting to know this device i am not worried about that yet. I am not using this device as a phone. Just as an mp3 player and maybe to get on the net using free wifi hotspots

Actually it is permanent now so i am more than happy...just wish i could work out why some music is on the card and not some.
