Lenovo X1 Tablet G2 : set Camera on

2021-07-13, 8:13 AM

I have an old Lenovo X1 Tablet G2.

I setup Fedora 34 on it with G,ome 40.1.0.

All work very good with an exception ... : the camera.

The camera seems OFF by BIOS or material system.

Looking at the keybord : F8 are not related to Camera, seems related to wifi (a tower near (( I )) ).

The lsusb and lspci didn't return any camera information.

And dmesg :

[root@fedora ~]# dmesg | grep video
[    3.939792] ACPI: video: Video Device [GFX0] (multi-head: yes  rom: no  post: no)
[    5.843090] videodev: Linux video capture interface: v2.00
[    6.002352] thinkpad_acpi: This ThinkPad has standard ACPI backlight brightness control, supported by the ACPI video driver

Is there a way to activate (set to green) with a specific instruction ? Maybe send something on kernel ?

On BIOS : >Security/I/O Port Access is ON for Camera

Thank you
