I ended up calling support because now my sound is not working (All garbled and seems like the speaker is blown or something), and demanded they send me a recovery key.
I got 2 of them today, marked URGENT.
So you CAN call in and complain and get a key.

At least the single free order is not wasted according to the email:
"If a digital download order has not started within 72 hours (3 days), the digital download order expires, and a new digital download order must be submitted ."

I've been waiting for access too. Just checked again and it's currently working for me. Downloading now...

you may need to download the lenovo recovery creator tool again. first i tried to use the tool previously downloaded, but it didn't work. the new loaded one works.

Confirmed: re-downloading the tool enabled the download for me.
Also, you will have to place a new order for the media if previous one has expired (72 hours from order confirmation) and have been unused .
The weird thing is that newly downloaded version of the USB Creator tool is the same as previous ones (I have already tried to re-download as a fix). It is ver. 4.0.0.
