Do you have java or flash software installed on your computer? I am posting this from Google Chrome right now. Perhaps you can un-install and re-install Chrome.

Take it easy,

Don't forget to include browser version and what addons/extensions/plugins you have installed. NoScript should throw some red flags

I am using the forums with no problems on Chrome 11.0 and Windows 7 (multiple computers with both). No extensions.

Now it is hit and miss. Sometime I can post, other times I have to open IE. The problem is I get a spinning wheel in the text box; I can type fine in the subject box.

I'm running Win7 x64 and have Chrome 11 installed.

I've seen the same problem once or twice, but never with any regularity and I usually just chalk it up to an error in the javascript somewhere. I haven't actually tested this theory though, as a simple page refresh always fixes my problem.

The next time it happens, right click anywhere on the page, click "Inspect Element," and select the "Console" tab. If there is anything there, copy it and report it here.

The reason you don't see it on the subject field is that the subject line is just a plain text box- there is no javascript WYSIWYG editor to load for that field.
