Dolby Audio (DAX2) Windows Desktop App gone?

2020-09-21, 23:39 PM

Hello, After I reformatted my laptop, and re-installed all the drivers, the Realtek driver only installed the Dolby API but not the app where you could set the equalizer is not here, its not listed in the control panel either. Can anyone give me an idea to why did this happen and if there is a fix to this? Searching in other forums of another oem shows that there is more than one folder, and mine only has the api.

I would want the app back like in this picture and not only the on/off toggle in the speaker properties.

Enhanced sound effect tab is missing in Realtek HD Audio Manager on Thinkpad P51-English Community

Sorry, its the Lenovo Ideapad 320-15IKB (Type 81BG)

I already updated the Realtek drivers from here, but still no Dolby app, only the setting to turn it on and off.
I hope this time someone can help me with this
