Is my IP banned?

Hello,

I'm facing an issue with using forums.lenovo.com.

 

When I open a page using my public IP I got a message " We're sorry, but you have been banned from using this site."  

 

While connecting through VPN it works normally.  

 

If I really got banned, can I know the reason please? :)

Unfortunately not possible to say; the logs don't record IP histories on anyone visiting the forums. There are no records of you having been banned.

Thank you for reply. While connecting via VPN is a workaround I will be using it.

What about disconnecting you router / internet access from your provider for a few minutes, on reconnecting you should hopefully pick up a new IP?

Unfortunately my IP is static.
Router rebooted - issue still occurs.

BTW: Now I'm getting another error:

An Unexpected Error has occurred. Your request failed. Please contact your system administrator and provide the date and time you received the error and this Exception ID: 5866B4B2. Click your browser's Back button to continue. Return to my original page
